User Guide of Application

1. Download the Strava App

2. Create account

You can create an account with your Facebook, Google account or e-mail address.

If you are logged in with Facebook or Google, you can skip step 3. You will be automatically logged in.

If you have created an account with your e-mail address, check your mailbox and go to step 3.

3. Login

You can log in to the application with your e-mail address and the password you have previously created.

You can also login directly, using Facebook and Google login options.

4. Remember your username

If you are processing on your mobile phone, go to your profile page. Tap on the share option above. You can save your username by clicking on copy option on the page that will be opened.

If you like, you can learn your username on the computer. After entering https://www.strava.com/, go to yur user profile and copy the link in the browser.

5. Login to the App

In order for race results to be calculated, your user profile and activities should be seen by public.

Settings – Enter Privacy Controls
Profile Page – Everyone
Activities – Everyone

6. Mobile Phone

If you are going to run with a mobile phone, you do not need to do anything else. Now is the time to register for the race. You can complete your registration on the “Register” page on our website.
On the race day, you can start running after opening the app and verifying the GPS data.
Make sure you select the run option in the app before you start racing.

7. After the Race End

To be able to end the race, make sure that the distance of 5 km has been completed on your phone.

To record the activity, write “Run For Life” in the name of the activity on the screen and save it. Please note that the results of the participants whose activity name is not written as specified, will not be uploaded to the system.

You can also add photos to your activity if you like.

8. For the GPS clock users

It is possible to participate in the Run For Life Virtual Run with Garmin, Fitbit, Polar, Wahoo, Suunto and Tomtom watches. To do that so, select the “Connect a GPS watch or computer” option that appears on the screen.

Click on the watch model and login to your user account.
After you finish the race, upload the activity to your Strava account on your watch via the internet connection.

To record the activity, write “Run For Life” in the name of the activity on the screen and save it. Please note that the results of the participants whose activity name is not written as specified, will not be uploaded to the system.

You can also add photos to your activity if you like.
